This week we saw Springs - tides that roll right in and over the top of our beach so that children staying squealed with delight as they bodysurfed up the sand on the surf and ghost crabs raced in and out of the water looking for submerged homes?
And then the lowest lows that peeled it all back so that the Sand Island bloomed and the water was pooled in warm ponds.
It's so different Sand Island, it changes the way it looked four times a day. High, low, high, low.
Isn't Mother Nature clever? Gently, gracefully (sometime crashingly, with tides that swell to almost 4m ) reminding you who is in charge ..
